SPX DC Hydraulic Power Units
SPX builds rugged DC hydraulic power units for and expanding range of demanding
mobile, industrial and agricultural applications. They feature a unique modular design
that allows the most compatible combination of motor, pump reservoir and valving to be
selected for individual requirements. Another advantage of this design is simplified
maintenance and service.
Most application needs can be fulfilled with standard SPX units plus the various
options available with each model. A variety of pump displacements will suit specific flow
requirements up to 5000 PSI (340 bar).
Every SPX power unit component is constructed of advanced hig quality materials for
maximum performance under heavy duty, adverse environment applications. Each unit
undergoes stringent testing to assure consistent performance and operating efficiency.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS
| Exclusive Motors SPX's 12-volt single
terminal, standard duty motor is a complete motor that simplifies field service. A choice
of voltage ratings add to the motor's versatility. SAE 9 tooth spline shaft provides
excellent torque transmission and eliminates the chance of tang slot wear or
possibility of imposed thrust loads on pump shafts.
This motor design offers ball bearings on both drive end and commutator end. This
is a distinct advantage that allows for better performance characteristics resulting from
a cooler running motor. Additional features include a unique brush rigging assembly that
allows users to replace commutator brushes without removing the motor. |
Cartridge Release Valves Cartridge
release valves provide fast positive response. Available with either manual or solenoid
actuation. A cam mechanism on the manual version offers "feathering" to regulate
the release or return flow speed. The solenoid design fulfills the need for remote
operation. A complete range of directional control valves (with pilot operated checks) are
available as options. |
