| Accounts Payable - Receivable Position - London |
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
- This full-time position will be responsible for all accounts payables and receivables for The Fluid Power House group of companies. The candidate should be able to perform the job with limited supervision and identify when additional direction is required. The position is located in London, Ontario but would support several branches located in Ontario.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and process all payables and receivables on a timely and accurate basis.
- Follow up and resolve any issues or problems with any of the transactions as they occur.
- Perform all necessary bank reconciliations.
- Prepare daily bank deposits and take to bank.
- Verify customer credit references and setup new customers.
- Review customer aging reports and follow up with overdue accounts.
- Setup new vendors and suppliers.
- Prepare weekly and bi-monthly cheque runs for vendors, suppliers and employee expenses.
- Perform office duties such as opening and processing incoming and outgoing mail, filing of all completed documents, photocopying, faxing, phone reception, preparation for meetings etc.
- Provide backup to certain other office positions when necessary.
- Other appropriate duties as supervisor assigns.

- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office programs; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Prophet 21 Enterprise software would be a definite asset.
SALARY
- Commensurate with experience and qualifications
HOURS OF WORK
- Office hours are generally 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hour work per week.

The Fluid Power House Inc. requires a working Shop Supervisor for the London facility.
The candidate will be responsible for the day to day operations of the London shop in the following areas:
- Troubleshooting
- Field plumbing
- Power Unit build
- Stone SPX assembly & conversion
- Bench repair
- Shop maintenance & housekeeping
- Fiscal responsibility
- Employee management
Troubleshooting:
- Candidate will show demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complete hydraulic systems, and provide backup to existing field service personnel, both in-house and onsite where necessary
- Preference will be given to the candidate with documented training and experience in our most common product ranges including Rexroth, Eaton, Vickers, and Sunstrand
Field Plumbing:
- Candidate will be familiar with plumbing practices and ideally have “hands on” tube bending capability
- Candidate will coordinate, schedule, and delegate The Fluid Power House Inc. employees and outside resources for all field plumbing activities including responsibility for product procurement, job supervision and BOM takeoff at completion
Power Unit Build:
- Candidate will show demonstrated experience in Power Unit build and test procedures and work effectively in a team atmosphere with Engineering and Sales to produce cost efficient and high quality Power Units
- Candidate will be required as necessary to facilitate customer commissioning and or field startup
- Candidate will coordinate, schedule and delegate work to Fluid Power House Inc. employees and required outside resources for all FPH Power Unit build
- Candidate will be accountable for all quality control
Stone SPX Assembly and Conversion:
- Candidate will assume complete responsibility for quality controlled build, test and conversion of the SPX Stone product range
- Candidate will coordinate, schedule and delegate work to The Fluid Power House Inc. resources required for the Stone SPX product build
Bench Repair
- Candidate will provide technicians with all required service sheets for each component repair to ensure an efficient inspection procedure and provide technical guidance as required to service technicians
- Candidate will be responsible to document component repair order and provide same to inside sales for customer approval
- Candidate with repair experience in repair of Rexroth, Vickers, Eaton and Sunstrand products would be preferred
- Candidate will coordinate, schedule, and delegate The Fluid Power House Inc. resources required for all in house repairs
Shop Maintenance
- Candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean shop environment at all times such tat Customer and Supplier visit demonstrate a well run, organized, and efficient department
Fiscal Responsibility
- Candidate will be required to demonstrate profitability by man in order to demonstrate productivity levels per employee. Our software solution tools do not have the necessary reporting capability at this time
Employee Management
- Candidate will be responsible to management for the mentoring, discipline, and day to day management of all employees within the service department
- Candidate will be responsible for upgrade and current training when required for all service personnel
- Preference will be given to candidate with demonstrated employee management experience and skills

The Fluid Power House Inc. requires a dynamic Technical Order Desk individual for the London and Sudbury facilities. The candidate will be responsible for front line customer contact in the following areas:
- Interacting with customers via phone, fax and e-mail
- Ensuring the accuracy of Sales Orders
- Providing Technical Assistance to customers
Candidates with CFPS designation and previous Fluid Power experience preferred.
